LSBA springs into action with the season

By Bethany Budde-Cohen & Matt Brazelton, LSBA Co-Presidents

To keep up with those beautiful May flowers, the Lafayette Square Business Association continues to bloom and spring into action, excited for a busy spring and summer season. As membership and participation continue to increase, we are excited about the direction and momentum of our neighborhood business organization. For more information regarding LSBA membership, please contact Lisa Cooper at lisac@mclaughlinfunerals.com or Diane Beaver at hbeav5k@aol.com.

We are looking forward to many events with our wonderful neighbors and surrounding communities. Many of these fun events are also fundraising efforts for increased neighborhood security – a win-win!

Our upcoming neighborhood events include Cocktails on the Plaza, a booth during the Spring Home and Garden Tour, Taste of Lafayette Square, Tricks & Treats on Park, Holiday Tree Lighting, and the Holiday Market during the Holiday Parlor Tour. Dates can be found on the neighborhood events calendar.

Please join us at an upcoming LSBA meeting! You do not have to be a member to attend. Our monthly meetings are held on Thursdays, rotating between mornings and late afternoons, which include a happy hour. Our 2018 meetings will be held on:

  • June 7, 4-5pm – Clementine’s Creamery
  • August 9, 4-5pm – Four Muddy Paws
  • September 6, 8-9am – Acosta Hair Design
  • October 4, 4-5pm – 21st Street Brewers Bar
  • November 8, 8-9am – Location To Be Determined
  • December 6, 4-5pm – L’Acadiane

We look forward to seeing you at these great neighborhood events. Here’s to a great rest of the year in Lafayette Square!
