SUMMARY:1st Annual Lafayette Square 1 Mile Patriot Day Race
DESCRIPTION:Lafayette Square Patriot Day Race is a 1-mile course around historic Lafayette Park. This timed race features prize money for the top 3 finishers in the male and female categories ($200\, $100\, $50) and a $25 gift card to the top age-group finisher for male and female runners. There will be a ceremonial 1st responder/military run to kick off the day. T-shirts (Blue/Red/Military Green) for runners who register by August 15th. All runners age 21 & older get a free post-race beer or cocktail. \nThe run benefits BackStoppers®\, Charter Athletic League\, and the Lafayette Square Neighborhood Association. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n7:00 AM – Registration and Day of Packet Pick Up \n7:50 AM – First Responders/Military Run \n8:10 AM – Competitive Run – All ages/genders \n8:20 AM – Fun Run *not chipped timing \nCourse 1 Mile around Historic Lafayette Park \n  \n*Virtual Option as well \n  \nPacket Pick Up Running Niche\, 1601 Tower Grove Ave\nFriday 9/9 3:00 pm-6:00 pm\nSaturday 9/10 10 am-5:00 pm \nDay of race 6:30-7:30 am 1700 Park Ave (by the fountain)
