Bob Bischoff Memorial Bench – Please contribute

The Lafayette Park Conservancy and Lafayette Square neighborhood lost a longtime member and resident on December 23, 2020.  Bob Bischoff served as President of the Conservancy from 2007 to 2011.

A master gardener, he began ParkNotes, the Conservancy newsletter, and secured a major grant to improve the park pathways and grotto bridge. After his term, he continued to serve on the Lafayette Park advisory board for years. He passed away after an illness at the age of 76. Bob was a treasured resident of the community, and we already miss him.

The Conservancy wants to remember Bob with a park bench in his honor. This will be an ornamental iron and weather resistant wood bench in a favorite spot of his, with a memorial plaque. We invite the Lafayette Square and Park community to join in contributing toward this memorial.

Please send your donation, by check, to the Lafayette Park Conservancy at 2023 Lafayette Avenue, St. Louis MO, 63104, and mark “Bischoff Memorial Bench” in the memo line, or on the envelope. We will reply with a receipt.

Thank you for your consideration of this gesture in Bob’s memory.
